My Approach to Yoga
The foundation of my classes is mindful movement. You will be encouraged to move and find stillness with full awareness and focus on your body, mind, and breath. You will learn to listen to your own body and meet yourself where you are, with mindfulness and compassion.
My mission is to lead you through a practice that promotes flexibility, balance, and strength in the body while calming the mind through breath and focus.
My goal is for you to leave feeling better than when you came in.
You will find a calming environment where you will feel grounded, challenged, and nourished in movement and stillness. During my Yoga sessions, I use candles to create a relaxing environment, where you will release tension, focus on your practice, and enjoy the benefits of yoga, aromatherapy, and candlelight, all in one.
Accompanied by Tibetan singing bowls during a short meditation at the end of the practice, the yoga sessions become a unique experience.
In every class, I will guide you with focus on safety, proper alignment, and mind-body connection. Each class will be different, while still following the traditional practices of Yoga. Integrating into my classes the principles of Ayurveda - the sister science of Yoga - and sound healing, I will guide you to find balance in mind, body and soul, and give you the opportunity to relax, restore, and improve your lifestyle.
