Toddler & Parent Yoga is an excellent opportunity for parents to bond with their little ones in a fun and interactive way, build trust and communication, and spend quality time with the children.
The parents participate actively in the class, and practice together with their children yoga asanas, fun yoga activities, breathing exercises, and dance together. The toddlers observe and copy the poses, as they start to explore the path of yoga. On the other hand, parents have the opportunity to be active in a creative environment, promoting their health and well-being. This class incorporates music and fun yoga games!
Classes: Thursday 09.45-10.30 (DE/EN)
Mindfulness
Yoga and mindfulness work together to help children develop awareness of the physical body and emotional self, embrace acceptance of self and others, learn how to focus on their breath, be fully present in the moment, and connect to their senses and surroundings. Mindfulness doesn't have to be complicated. Through movement, games and activities, as well as guided visualization, affirmations and storytelling, mindfulness can be fun for the little yogis!
Yoga Asana
Do you want to jump like a frog, learn to fly like a bird or stand tall like a tree? Child-centered classes that help little students explore various yoga asanas (poses) through fun storytelling activities, yoga games, and music. Yoga offers funny ways to learn creative poses and help our little yogis become flexible, learn how to balance body and mind, improve strength and stamina, train fine and gross motor skills, and support their overall health.
A community for the little Yogis
Yoga means "to yoke" or "to unite". In this sense, yoga not only serves to connect body, mind, and spirit, but also brings people together. Building a community of little yogis will help promote their socialization skills, teach them about empathy, help children learn how to practice together, play games together, celebrate successes, or help each other to work through difficult poses, and also learn that they can unwind and have their own moment of relaxation while being part of a larger group.
Relax & Restore
Breathing techniques, short guided meditations along with singing balls, and restorative poses are valuable tools that help children regulate their energy and emotions, soothe their mind, restore the body, learn about stress management, and promote healthy sleep habits.
Partner Yoga
Partner yoga guarantees a lot of FUN! The kids will explore yoga asana while learning how to work together, trust each other, and find support. I always try to challenge the little yogis with some partner yoga poses in every class, as they are a valuable tool that teach kids how to connect, cooperate and have fun at the same time! Partner yoga serves both as an introduction to more challenging poses (balancing poses, handstand) or restorative poses.
